WJCU’s Spring 2008 shedule begins Sunday, January 13th, and we’ve made just a few changes that you may want to make note of:
On Sundays at 6:30 AM, we will begin featuring “Provoke”, a 30 minute exploration of social justice and ethics within the context of inter-religious dialogue, sponsored by the Maryland Province Jesuits.
On Mondays at 10 PM, “An Evening on Karl Johan Street” has retired, and “KG Beat” will move from its old Wednesday 8 PM slot to fill the gap. Replacing the old “KG Beat” slot at Wed. 8 PM will be a fresh new Indie/Alt music show called “Something to Write Home About” hosted by Alex and Mark.
Wednesday monings from midnight to 2 AM will feature the return of The Chris Wannagat Radio Broadcast. Hear Chris roar after his triumphant tour of the UK
On Thursdays, Jimmy C’s “Planeta Latino” will trim its run to 2 hours; 6-8 PM. Chris Swartz’s long-running “Infinite Melancholy” retires, and a new show, “Your Personal Palm Tree” will feature Reggae-Rock hosted by DJ Mello from 8 to 9:30 PM, followed by the return of “Taking up Space” - an electronic, spacey, psychedelic, free flow musical experience brought to you by Mr. Bill, from 9:30 – 11 PM.
