WJCU Seniors Honored at John Carroll University

Congratulations go out to WJCU’s own Craig Willert and Andy Johnson who have been honored by the Tim Russert Department of Communications and Theatre Arts and The Carroll News.

Senior Craig Willert has been awarded the 2010 Outstanding Senior Award by the Communications and Theatre Arts Department. Serving as WJCU’s Sports Director and as a Heights DJ Friday afternoons from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., the Chicago native was recognized by the department not only for his academic success but for his beneficial contributions to WJCU 88.7FM, The Carroll News as a weekly columnist and student government at John Carroll University.

Andy Johnson, a senior hailing from Prescott, Wisconsin has been named as a Senior To Watch in the latest edition of The Carroll News. Andy serves as WJCU’s Production Director and takes control of The Heights as a DJ Friday afternoons from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Named because of his top-notch academic success and involvement at John Carroll, Andy has also been recognized as Student Leader of the Year, EMS Provider of the Year and the recipient of the Alan Stephenson Scholarship.
