Live Concert Broadcast This Monday!

History will be made this Monday October 13th on NEORocks, the all local music show here on WJCU. Tune in from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to hear a live full-concert performance from Kent, Ohio’s The Speedbumps.

But you’re probably thinking how are we going to get all that music equipment into the relatively cramped quarters of our radio station and manage to play at the same time?! Worry not WJCU fans, we’ll be broadcasting live from the newely renovated and state-of-the-art Klein Television Studio on the campus of John Carroll University. This means you’ll get top-notch sound, excellent entertainment, and not to mention enjoyable hosts in a neat two-hour package.

And this is just the beginning! We’ll be bringing you concerts like this in the future with our NEORock Sessions mini-concert series.

Don’t miss our first session! That’s this Monday, October 13th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., only on WJCU 88.7FM and streaming worldwide on wjcu.org/listen.


Cleveland Heights: A National Treasure

The area of land surrounded by Coventry Road, Lee Road and Heights Boulevard could earn federal designation for both its natural and architectural beauty. The neighborhood is known for its curved boulevards, charming homes, and ample green space.

Father Harry, a member of the San Francisco, California Catholic Diocese can be heard weekdays on WJCU 88.7FM throughout the day. And though cyber space has very little information about this inspirational radio pro, you can learn a little more about Father Harry including his induction to the San Francisco Radio Hall of Fame by clicking over to our Father Harry Tab.


Local Theatre Productions Earn Rave Reviews

WJCU’s Uncle Fred of Arts on the Heights has been busy going about town finding some of the best theatre productions currently running. In Episode 35 listen to the review of The Glass Menagerie, currently running at downtown’s Cleveland Playhouse.
