Speaking with WJCU&#8217;s Chris Hooton, lead singer of “Sarah Borges and The Broken Singles” talked about the band currently on tour promoting their latest album &#8220;The Day We Met&#8221;.  </p>

<p>The award-winning author of three books, Mary Morrissy currently holds the Hopkins Chair in British Literature here at John Carroll University.  Morrissy has an impressive resumé having worked as a journalist for two of Ireland&#8217;s national newspapers, a professor in both Ireland and the US, and as a research fellow with the New York Public Library.  </p>

<p><a href='http://www.wjcu.org/files/2007/07/dcfn0010.JPG' title='dcfn0010.JPG'><img src='http://www.wjcu.org/files/2007/07/dcfn0010.thumbnail.JPG' alt='dcfn0010.JPG' / align=right></a> Local vendors, organizations, artists and small businesses lined Waterloo Road and up East 156th Street in Collinwood all day.  Inside the Beachland Ballroom (<a href="http://www.beachlandballroom.com">www.beachlandballroom.com</a>) there was a Rock n&#8217; Roll Flea Market along with other interesting events, good for the whole family!</p>
