John Carroll’s (21-6) impressive first round victory over Maryville College has them squared up with a second round match with Guilford College (26-2) on Saturday March 6th. Coverage of the Men’s NCAA Tournament begins at 6:45 pm EST on WJCU 88.7FM and online on our webstream.

March Madness is now underway as the John Carroll University Blue Streaks battle the Maryville College Scots this Friday at 6:00 pm EST only on WJCU-2.

Catch the WJCU Sports crew live from the Guilford College Ragan-Brown Field House in North Carolina with all the action.

Friday night’s winner moves on to the second round and will face either Guilford or Christopher Newport Colleges on March 6th. The loser is done for the season.

After a week-long celebration, we’re just getting warmed up as this morning the Footprints For Fatima 5K Run and 1-mile walk will take off around University Heights. Stop by–WJCU will be there DJing the festivities as the racers cross the finish line!

Then this afternoon all eyes turn to the gridiron as the John Carroll University Blue Streaks take on Ohio Athletic Conference rival Marietta College. Join our Sports Department with the pre-game show here on WJCU starting at 1:30 p.m. EST with a 2:00 p.m. kickoff.
