Speaking with WJCU&#8217;s Chris Hooton, lead singer of “Sarah Borges and The Broken Singles” talked about the band currently on tour promoting their latest album &#8220;The Day We Met&#8221;.  </p>

<p>The award-winning author of three books, Mary Morrissy currently holds the Hopkins Chair in British Literature here at John Carroll University.  Morrissy has an impressive resumé having worked as a journalist for two of Ireland&#8217;s national newspapers, a professor in both Ireland and the US, and as a research fellow with the New York Public Library.  </p>

Peters&#8217; show first hit the WJCU airwaves back in 1982 and has grown in popularity by leaps and bounds since then.  </p>

To celebrate this remarkable milestone in Cleveland broadcasting The Beachland Ballroom is hosting &#8220;WJCU and Metal on Metal&#8217;s 25th Anniversary Concert&#8221; this Saturday, September 15th.  Doors opening at 5:00 p.m.  </p>
