This Friday January 16, 2009 Arts Collinwood gallery is hosting a reception for their new exhibit, “Photographs for New Conversation.” This art work is done by Jack Rushuto and Maurice Small. Rushuto’s is the co-author of Instructions From the Cook-Recipes for New Conversations which helps people create new conversations with others about their past while his photography reflects a Buddhist aesthetic. Small’s art work is also shown in the book by Rushuto. The opening reception is from 6:30-9:30p.m. and will include a city fresh cooking demo, readings from Instructions From the Cook and a session of thinkers and drinkers-an open forum discussion group.
The reception is free and open to the public. The exhibit runs from January 16 through January 31st at Arts Collinwood Gallery at E156th and
