Grammy Award-nominated recording artist Soulja Boy sits down with Zachary ‘DJ Z13’ Sinutko and Jayden Beddingfield of 808s & Mixtapes for an exclusive interview for WJCU. Following his show at the Packard Music Hall on Tuesday, April 29th, the multi-time BET Award-winning artist joins the college radio airwaves of John Carroll University for the first time.
In March, DJ Arcadia had the supreme honor of conducting their first ever interview with one of their favorite artists, Cleveland’s own multi-talented Kid Tigrrr, after her mesmerizing show in the Marinello Little Theatre on the John Carroll campus.
WJCU will pay tribute to longtime on-air personality Greg Priddy with this year’s St. Patrick’s Day Irish Music Marathon on Monday, March 17 from 6:00 AM-Midnight. Priddy, who passed away last month, was a longtime host of the Irish Music Marathon and also maintained WJCU’s Irish music library.

The fall semester was my first semester officially being a music co-director here at WJCU, and wow was it chock-full of awesome albums that I had a lot of fun listening to and adding to our music library! I could gush and wax poetic about a good number of these, but since this isn’t my English class and I’m not here to write an essay, here are my brief thoughts on a few personal favorites. WJCU’s annual Radiothon fundraiser begins on Friday, February 14. It’s the one time of year when we come to you and ask for your support to keep award-winning local, independent, commercial-free college radio on the air. We’re proud to be the International Student Broadcasting Championship Station of the Year, but we rely on the world’s best listeners to help keep us the world’s best station.
Greg Priddy, the longtime host of The I, The IV, and the V and WJCU’s annual Irish Music Marathon, has passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
WJCU is featuring local music while working to combat hunger in Northeast Ohio with the return of Blizzard Bash. This year’s event, scheduled for Saturday, February 8, 2025, at the Beachland Tavern, aims to break last year’s record of donating over 12,000 meals through the power of music. All of the proceeds for this annual charity concert benefit The Hunger Network.
This year’s lineup includes Ziggy D of C-Level, Esther Fitz, JT’s Spark Trio, and Mr. Carnivore.
WJCU’s traditional Christmas radio plays return starting Christmas Eve, along with Christmas specials from some of your favorite shows!
This year’s new radio play, Kringletown Chronicles, Chapter 5 produced by Art Funni, will debut on Christmas Day at 3:00 PM with a re-air at 7:00 PM.
