Ride For Miles on Saturday September 12th!

The 2009 Ride For Miles bike ride, organized in memory of the late Dr. Miles Coburn of the John Carroll University Biology Department is this Saturday, September 12th.

All this week, the Dr. Miles Coburn Environmental Symposium will be going on here at John Carroll featuring respected speakers on the importance of environmental protection. Presentations will be both local and global in perspective, but focus on the best way to positively impact the earth on a day-to-day basis.

For a complete schedule of this week’s presentations, you can learn more at the Ride For Miles website. The week concludes with the 15-mile bike ride through the streets of beautiful Shaker Heights.

Registration for the bike ride ends on Thursday, September 10th. If you’re interested in volunteering for the event, you can register online and receive a free T-shirt.
