Father Harry

father-harry.JPG SO…just who is this Father Harry.”

Any loyal listener to 88.7FM will recognize these clever 60-second productions that always seem to put things in perspective, a smile on your face, and make your day’s outlook a little better. Every piece has a meaningful point voiced by the respected Father Harry.

Hardly a day goes by without listeners asking us more about who Father Harry actually is. Though information about this radio veteran is rather slim, it is by no means reflective of his remarkable career.

A member of the San Francisco, California Catholic Diocese, Monsignor Harry Schlitt has spent over 40 years in the radio industry. Amongst his achievements is a honored spot in the Bay Area Radio Hall of Fame.

Pictured above in 1968 from Springfield, Missouri’s KICK-FM studios, Father Harry of the God Squad can be heard weekdays here on WJCU 88.7FM. Listen in today!
