As with any radio station, WJCU requires funds to continue operation and improve services. As a non-profit organization, WJCU does not turn to advertisers for this funding; we provide you with commercial-free radio 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. While we are funded by John Carroll’s Communications Department, much of the money that enables us to provide you with quality radio is from you, the listeners. The Rock

Born in September of 2006 and first on the air on Jan 18, 2007, The Rock is quite possibly the best rock and roll radio show in town. Featuring a mix of hard alternative, metal, and metalcore. Gene is your host, and he knows how to keep it rockin' much better than all those "other shows". From local acts to nationally signed, brand new fresh out of the box music to the classics, The Rock has it all!
