Tune in Saturday when the Blue Streaks take on the Quakers

The John Carroll Blue Streaks (5-2, 4-2 OAC) will face off with the Wilmington Quakers (1-6, 1-5 OAC) at Don Shula Stadium on the JCU Campus Saturday, October 27, at 1:30 pm.

Pregame on WJCU begins at 1:15 pm as Dale Armbruster & Joe Ginley will bring you the call live from Don Shula Stadium.

The Blue Streaks are coming off of a 28-23 victory over Ohio Northern last Saturday, as the Blue & Gold knocked off their conference foes from Ada for the first time since 2005.

The Quakers are riding some momentum as well, as they defeated Marietta last week, 13-12, to win their first football contest since October 2009.

New Letters on the Air

New Letters on the Air, from the University of Missouri Kansas City, is the half-hour radio companion to the literary quarterly magazine New Letters. Past guests include U.S. Poet Laureates Ted Kooser, Rita Dove, Billy Collins; Pulitzer Prize winning playwrights August Wilson, Suzan-Lori Parks, Tony Kushner; and novelists Jim Harrison, Jane Smiley, and Richard Russo. The program, which also features emerging writers of poetry, fiction, drama and creative non-fiction, is produced by the University of Missouri-Kansas City and distributed via the Public Radio Satellite System's Content Depot, and the Public Radio Exchange.
