It is official: WJCU Sports is hitting the road and bringing you all of the action from the football season opener between the John Carroll Blue Streaks and the St. Norbert Green Knights in Chicago.
The WJCU Sports team will be bringing you nearly five hours of coverage on September 7, starting with The Blue and Gold Show with Howard Regal at 3:30 p.m. on WJCU-2. Howard will be joined by Ashley Bastock and Joe Ginley. Listen for coach and player interviews, the 2013 season preview, and their predictions for the afternoon’s contest.
At 4:30, coverage will shift to WJCU 88.7, when Sports Director Dale Armbruster and John Kosko will break down the two teams and get you ready for kickoff. Coverage will stay at Toyota Park in Chicago for the full broadcast of the John Carroll Blue Streaks and the St. Norbert Dragons.
After the game, join Howard Regal and the WJCU Sports team as they analyze the day’s action until 8:30 pm on the Blue Streaks Post Game Show on WJCU. When Caribbean Groove begins at 8:30, coverage will shift for the final time to WJCU-2 until 9:00.
