Come next week when the new programming schedule is in full swing, certain familiar voices will not be heard on the airwaves.
Rachel Halle (Unknown Overload), Jake Clemens (UnderLand Radio), Bill Iammarino (Taking Up Space), Art Funni (I Haven’t a Clue), and Tzui Turner (Jewish Community Radio, Sunday Edition) each retired their respective shows. The management and staff of WJCU wishes them nothing but the best, and we wish them all continued success in their careers and future life endeavors.
Special good luck goes out to Art Funni, who just recently accepted a full time teaching position in sunny North Carolina.
A special thank you goes out to Catnap host Frank Smisek who produced the ’80’s rocker Living in Oblivion, that aired each Tuesday morning from midnight-2 am as a summer limited edition special to our airwaves. Frank will continue to host Catnap each Wednesday evening.
Thank you again Rachel, Jake, Bill, Art & Tzui. WJCU will miss you all, and best of luck down the road!
