The Farnsworth Invention

Uncle Fred and Aunt Jill recently attended a performance of The Farnsworth Invention at the Beck Center. Written by the famous Aaron Sorkin (A Few Good Men, The West Wing, Charlie Wilson’s War) The Farnsworth Invention is based on events that lead to the invention of the television.

The play has Sorkin’s well known intelligent dialogue and moves at a terrific pace. It is not a science lesson, but rather the conflict of the underdog, Farnsworth, against the large NBC and RCA.

The Farnsworth Invention runs at the Beck Center in Lakewood through April 11th.
