Spoon River Anthology

Uncle Fred and Aunt Jill recently attened a performance of the Spoon River Anthology at the Actors Summit in Hudson. Based on the free verse poem  of Edgar Lee Masters where the deceased of Spoon River deliver their own epitaphs. They are able to speek freely of their lives and sacrifices with in them.

Spoon River Anthology was adapted for the stage in 1963 and we only meet a few of those in the cemetary who are played superbly by five actors.

The show runs through March 29th at the Actors Summit in Hudson.
