The Outspoken Cyclist – 3/5/2011

It’s true you meet the most interesting people on a bike, and that also applies to a radio show about bicycles. This week we meet two folks who are difficult to categorize, but easy to admire.

First up is Michael Aisner, who promoted and directed the Red Zinger and Coors Classic bike races back in the 70’s and 80’s. Among his many and various current pursuits, Michael is bringing professional stage racing back to Colorado this August with the inaugural Quiznos Pro Challenge.

And we finish up with Elly Blue, car-free bicycle activist, writer, feminist and all-around busy person in Portland, Oregon. Elly has a delightful spirit, and after you listen to her interview, you’ll want to check out her blog.
