The Outspoken Cyclist – 5/7/2011

Fresh off of Calvin’s Challenge last weekend, and traveling again this weekend to ride the 50th TOSRV, we’re pleased to present you with a pre-recorded edition of The Outspoken Cyclist.

We begin this week with a Calvin’s Race Report from Greg, and a saddle fitting tip from Diane. Then we get right into the spirit of Bike Month and talk with Andy Lambert and Burton Avery of Civia Cycles, a line of commuter and utility bikes from the land of 1,000 lakes: Minnesota.

After some news and calendar, we catch up with Keith Laughlin, Director of Rails to Trails, about what’s happening with funding for cycling infrastructure in the current political climate. Keith will be in Cleveland later this month for a conference on trails, paths, and other projects.
