Spend Christmas Eve & Christmas Day with WJCU

Spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day by tuning into original, local Christmas programming, courtesy of your friends at WJCU.

Beginning at 5:30 pm on Christmas Eve, tune in for a 2009 adapted for radio WJCU production of It’s a Wonderful Life. Then at 7:00 pm, a 2010 adapted for radio WJCU production of Charles Dickens’ classic A Christmas Carol will take you through a magical journey of the true meaning of Christmas. At 8:00 pm, tune into an encore version of WJCU’s 2011 adaptation of A Very Private Miracle, featuring John Carroll University President Rev. Robert L. Niehoff, S.J. as the narrator. Then at 9:00 pm, WJCU’s adaptation of Elise Primavera’s Auntie Claus will air following its world premier last Christmas Eve. And making its world premier at 9:30 pm this year will be Auntie Claus 2, the sequel to Primavera’s classic.

From 10:00 pm – midnight, tune into Christmas by Cleveland, a series of Christmas story readings by well-known local authors and actors. And then at midnight, tune into an encore version of A NEO Rocks Christmas, featuring performances from some of the best artists in Cleveland music including Joshua Jesty, Jason Patrick Myers, Jessica Shetler, Megan Zurkey, Ray Flanagan, Nate Jones, Guggy, Dan Miraldi and more.

On Christmas Day, the Christmas Eve lineup will re-air beginning at 6:30 am and run until 1:00 pm. A NEO Rocks Christmas, however, will not run on Christmas Day.
