The Outspoken Cyclist – 09/24/2011

This week we head off-road for a roundtable discussion on mountain biking, and specifically the possibility of having mountain bike trails in the Cleveland area. Nancy Desmond of the Cleveland Metroparks, Andrew Miller of the Cleveland Area Mountain Bike Association, and Mark Eller of the International Mountain Bicycling Association join us to discuss sustainable trail building, environmental impact, shared use, and the potential future direction of the Metroparks here in Cleveland.

After some news, Diane welcomes paracyclist and cancer survivor Matt Bradley, of Sandy, Utah. Matt recently competed in the 2011 Para-cycling Road World Championships in Rokskilde, Denmark, and he has an awesome story to tell about how his body has changed in the last year, but his outlook on life, not so much.
