Matt learned to row while attending Saint Ignatius High School in Cleveland, Ohio. Under the guidance of Coach Bob Valerian, Matt coxed as a novice and varsity coxswain for the Wildcat Navy from 1994 to 1997.
Rob Zdankiewicz has been around the sport of rowing since 2000. He is the current Head Coach at Saint Joseph Academy and the Director of Operation at the Foundry High Performance Rowing and Sailing Center.
Erini started as a rower at Cleveland State where she is now Head Coach. She is a coxswain for the masters program and a member of the CRF Board of Directors
Bill had his first experience with rowing in High School. He is currently coaching at St. Edward High School, Head of the CMSD program and he is rowing with the Masters program of WRRA.
Rachel Stanley started rowing in 2007 and moved up to the masters level in 2009. She has coached for Western Reserve Rowing Association and Case Western Reserve University. She has served on the CRF and WRRA boards and is currently the Coaching Committee Chair.
Rob Schoenherr is a boatman, rower dad, and all-around good guy.
Matt Carlsen started as a coxswain at St Ignatius in the Fall of 2004, then on to Miami of Ohio as a coxswain and captain. He has coach and coxed adult rowers and is currently Head Coach for the St Ed’s rowing team.
Sir Bob Valerian – Not officially knighted, but has been around since the beginning. He’s was coach at St Ignatius for quite a few years, a CRF board member, and most recently with the Shaker Heights High School Team. Bob has rowed since he was in college at Georgetown.
Mark is a rower, coach, past board member and works with the adaptive rowing program.
